I think your idea is sound and should work, but I don’t know how useful this would be to people; the market isn’t as big as it is for people who go running etc. Plus you need to be able to hear a lifeguard in a swimming pool in case someone is drowning. But outside of the swimming pool it could work well. But clearly there isn’t enough of a market for them to make these yet.
